Volusia County Bourbon Society BBQ Event

On Saturday, November 18th, we entered into the world of competition BBQ. Rich and I competed in the 1st Annual Volusia Bourbon Society BBQ Event. It was a great learning experience for us to practice our prep, cooking times, and boxing skills for judging. We had to cook chicken, baby back ribs, and a one bite challenge, which was shrimp. It was fun and educational all in one. We can't wait until January for our first big sanctioned event!
